The most popular being '10 Hour Block-Sessions' over a Weekend Course in such locations as the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and the Lake District. You may also arrange courses in your own home town. For individuals who are not affiliated to any martial arts club/group, you are invited to enroll on the many courses at the

OSA assessment Centre, York. 

Courses may be paid via cash, cheque or PayPal.

Successful applicants will be given the relevant USERNAME and PASSWORD to become an

OSA Member which will allow them to access the relevant video footage.

The relevant Learning Pack will be emailed to all OSA members on joining.

San Jia Gun (Three Section Staff) a fast flexible weapon, capable of both long and short range techniques. Also on this video is a routine using the Three Section Staff against the Sword and Rattan Cane Shield.

   SEEKING POINT FAN

Xun Xue Shan (Seeking Point Fan) Although not designed as a weapon the fan is ideal for striking vulnerable areas of the body when in the closed position and used for brushing aside attacking limbs or weapons when in the open position.

   SHAOLIN DRAGON SWORD (LONG FORM)

   SHAOLIN DRAGON SWORD(SHORT FORM)
The straight doubled edged sword (Jian) has a long history and has been carried by both scholars and soldiers. The sequence of 36 movements being taught on this video have been taken from a longer set but the order of the movements have been preserved, thus making it easy to learn the complete form at a future date.

   SUMMER COURSE 2002

2002 Summer Course in Tenby South Wales includes the warm up "Salute to the Sun", a short stance routine done in 4 directions, showing the major stances of Lau Gar, Self defence against an armed attack, Yang Tai Chi form and walking techniques.

   SUMMER COURSE 2003

2003 Summer Course in Scarborough contains 8 pieces of Brocade, Hand techniques using short power, Chin Na techniques and for application, a short two man form to train stepping, kicking techniques, Stamping, Warm up and streching, Kay lun (Unicorn) dance training with Master Yau.

   SUMMER COURSE 2004

DVD of the Scarborough Summer Course 2004 contains 8 pieces of Brocade, Hand techniques using explosive power, push hand drills and training, stretching and flexibility exercise, stance training, walking techniques, kicking and Stamping Jum gong tsarin jong.

   SUMMER COURSE 2005

The 2005 Summer Course in north Wales contains 8 pieces of Brocade, warm up exercises, stance training, "ging" power short range explosive power training, Chin na dual form, active warm up exercises, walking techniques, stamps and demonstrations.
