We provide educational programmes that facilitate your martial arts achievements towards generic educational qualifications

We are currently working towards having college and university status

We provide Vocational Programmes which include First Aid and Leadership Courses for both students and instructors to promote high professional standards for martial arts

Your current martial arts qualifications, knowledge and experience is validated to allow you to be 'fast tracked', reducing the financial cost and time to complete

Programmes are delivered online in conjunction with regional workshops for those who would otherwise find it logistically too difficult to attend

We have created a Modular Training Framework which presents a wide range of flexible, relevant and high quality training opportunities, this includes a FREE e-APL service

We have no restrictions on your current loyalties to other affiliated groups

We actively support you to be affiliated with any other associations, to promote unity within the martial arts

No interference with the management of your current Club

As your club is run as a business, which has taken many years to build, we expect you to continue to run it without any interference

We understand that joining a multi-style governing body, you would expect your style to be recognised as being unique and not 'watered-down' to suit others

Discounts on courses and merchandise

We pay all qualified instructors who act as providers to our martial arts workshop programmes

We provide reduced rates for courses and events for registered individuals/groups

For instructor discounts, please contact us

The OSA is working to bring all sport & martial arts together through education

Step 1: Invite all current individuals to register onto our Database and give them a unique Registration number to identify them

Step 2: Invite them to complete an APL to reduce costs and time to validate their knowledge and experience

Step3: Deliver the relevant courses, in partnership with schools, colleges and universities to support their learning needs

Step 4: Invite the Registered Individuals, with the relevant qualifications, to deliver courses and events of their choosing to be used as a database both regionally, nationally and internationally

Martial Art Induction Certificate

Martial Art n. any of various philosophies of self-defence and techniques of single combat, originating in the Far East. (Collins English Dictionary)

Through the use of modular distance learning programmes developed by the Oriental Sports Association, the study of the martial arts can now be accepted as an entry requirement for courses, which could lead to academic and vocational qualifications in higher education, depending on the academic ability of the student

For the first time, students of the martial arts now have the opportunity to improve the standards of martial art practice, and have their courses accredited and validated

Sport Art Induction Certificate

The course explains how to introduce the new modular system of physical and academic learning to both new and existing students, and also outlines the correct methods to adopt in order to develop a successful sport arts practice. These involve the conversion of any existing sport art training syllabus to a modular format, which will then be validated by the Oriental Sports Association.
