Leadership
Courses It is understood that once a course is completed it will prepare the individual with the appropriate information necessary to develop their leadership skills in the right way, which will lead to the acceptance by generic governing bodies such as educational establishments and corporate businesses Collectively we are helping and advising one another, we're breaking down barriers, sharing skills and ideas whilst forging new friendships and having fun in the process, the way things should be Please remember, the OSA strongly encourages its affiliates to retain their present affiliations upon registration The OSA is open to all regardless of style/system or instructional rank/grade/status and does NOT promote martial arts politics, have no hidden agendas and will not interfere with its valued affiliates practices - simple! Knife & Edged Weapon Awareness Programme Section 3(1) of the Criminal Law Act 1967: A person may use such force as is reasonable in the circumstances in the prevention of crime, or in effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders or of persons unlawfully at large
A & E Assessment If someone walks in to A & E, they will be assessed based on the depth of the wound, its angle and where it is on their body as well as the amount of blood a person is losing. When a stabbing victim is being brought in by ambulance, the emergency team is ready in the resuscitation room to receive them. People who carry knives do recognise the damage that can be done and usually have a 'bravado' in their attitude. If you believe carrying a knife is for your own self-defence then the reality is that pulling a knife is likely to result in someone being seriously injured
